The PROJECT C.U.R.E. First Ladies' Luncheon is quickly becoming an annual tradition for C.U.R.E. Communities. The Luncheon, first introduced in 2006 with the First Lady of El Salvador as the honored guest, exists to generate awareness of health issues in and raise money to deliver medical supplies and equipment to the country represented. Subsequent events have involved the first ladies of Mexico and Belize, touching the lives of thousands of business and community leaders in Denver and Phoenix.
This year, PROJECT C.U.R.E. is proud to announce that the First Lady of Ghana, Mrs. Ernestina Naadu Mills, will visit Denver for the fourth-annual First Ladies' Luncheon on July 23, 2009. She will be the honored guest for the event and will speak to approximately 1,800 people about the health needs of people in her country. Thanks to a generous donation from title sponsor MillerCoors, all funds raised at the Luncheon will go directly to the delivery of medical supplies and equipment straight into the hands of medical professionals in Ghana to treat people in need.
The First Ladies' Luncheon is an invite-only event, and the guest list fills up very quickly. If you are interested in learning more about the Luncheon and how you can be involved, please send an e-mail to projectcureinfo@projectcure.org.
