Our goal this year is to open a fifth distribution center in Chicago. We look forward to partnering with the Chicago medical community to implement programs to recover medical supplies and equipment. Before we can begin collecting those medical resources, however, we need a distribution center to store, sort, test and process these medical supplies so that we can deliver them to the most needy clinics in the developing world and ultimately save lives.

From its start 25 years ago in the Evergreen garage of James Jackson, a real-estate developer turned philanthropist, Project C.U.R.E. has grown into the world's largest distributor of donated medical supplies and equipment, distributing roughly $50 million of relief every year. Today the organization is run by Douglas Jackson and operates out of a 60,000-square-foot warehouse in Centennial. But C.U.R.E. doesn't just send supplies around the globe; it also sends volunteers, who quickly recognize that the cure for many of the world's ills starts right here in Colorado. Shen Yun Performing Arts

In a collection of short pieces, Shen Yun presents colorful and exhilarating performances of classical Chinese dance and music. Each piece corresponds to specific ethnic cultures and folktales within the vast Chinese spectrum, from the legends of the culture's creation over 5,000 years ago through to the story of Falun Dafa in China today.

Each Shen Yun performance is hosted by bilingual emcees that guide you through the show and provide all the background needed for you to enjoy it. On Saturday, February 11, Gary, IN Links members will package "Kit for Kids" boxes that will function as

medicine chests for families in the developing world where basic home healthcare supplies - like antibiotic

ointment, bandages, and insect repellent - are desperately lacking.  The Links, Incorporated founded in

1946, is one of the oldest and largest volunteer service organization of women who are committed to

enriching, sustaining and ensuring the culture and economic survival of African Americans and other

persons of African ancestry.

Our Centennial, CO warehouse will be closed today, Friday, February 3,  due to severe winter weather.

 

To celebrate PROJECT C.U.R.E.'s 25 years of improving healthcare around the world, we will host a 25^th Anniversary Celebration event at our Centennial, CO warehouse location on Thursday, March 22, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The warehouse is located at 10377 E. Geddes Ave., Centennial, CO 80112. The event will be emceed by ABC-7’s Anne Trujillo, with entertainment, food and interactive kiosks to learn more the organization’s important work and programs. One such kiosk will feature what life is like on a dollar a day – the average income of a PROJECT C.U.RE. client.
