PROJECT C.U.R.E.’s Junior Board is a formal association of emerging leaders committed to advancing their professional development goals, while developing their place in community leadership through supporting PROJECT C.U.R.E. in its mission. The Junior Board is tasked with spearheading fundraising activities, coordinating volunteer projects, networking with other globally conscious professionals, and cultivating essential leadership skills and competencies.
The required time commitment is approximately 5 hours per month. In addition to the full day retreat and kick-off scheduled for Friday, January 27, 2012, time commitments include: Monthly Junior Board member meetings/Speaker Series held the first Tuesday of each month from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m; Selected Committee monthly meeting(s); and additional volunteer, fundraising, and/or networking events. The Junior Board runs on a calendar year and participants may serve on the Junior Board for a maximum of two years.
Submissions are due Wednesday, November 30, 2011 for consideration into the 2012 Junior Board Program based in Denver, CO.
