PROJECT C.U.R.E. Announces New Houston Executive Director
HOUSTON, TX, JANUARY 9, 2012 – PROJECT C.U.R.E., the Colorado based nonprofit organization that delivers donated medical supplies and equipment to underserved hospitals and clinics in over 120 developing countries, announced today the hiring of Sandra Curphey to be the executive director of its Houston office.
In her new role, Curphey will oversee all aspects of PROJECT C.U.R.E. Houston fundraising efforts, working closely with corporate sponsors and major donors to help lead the organization in their global medical relief efforts.

She has a track record of nonprofit leadership experience and moving fundraising programs forward,” said Betsy Boudreau, Vice President of Fund Development for PROJECT C.U.R.E. “We’re confident that she will take our Houston office to new heights and play an instrumental role in shaping our next 25 years of delivering health and hope to the world,” Boudreau continued.
Sandra was selected among more than 100 applicants following an extensive nationwide search. Her 15-year communications and development career has encompassed work for a wide variety of organizations, including Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Make-a-Wish Foundation, Diabetes Partnership, and Coalition of Health Services. Most recently Sandra served as President of Curphey Consulting, which she founded in 2010.
