Project C.U.R.E.'s First Ladies’ Luncheon is an annual fundraising event that brings awareness to the humanitarian work of first ladies from around the world. Previously, Project C.U.R.E. hosted Señora Ana Ligia de Saca, the former first lady of El Salvador (Denver, 2006); Mrs. Margarita Zavala, the first lady of Mexico (Denver, 2008); Ms. Kim Simplis Barrow, the first lady of Belize (Phoenix, 2008); Mrs. Ernestina Naadu Mills, the first lady of Ghana (Denver, 2009); and Mrs. Marta Martinelli, the first lady of Panama (Denver, 2010). |
Funds raised at each event go to support the delivery of life-saving medical supplies and equipment to the country represented.
