First Ladies' Luncheon

Project C.U.R.E.'s First Ladies’ Luncheon is an annual fundraising event that brings awareness to the humanitarian work of first ladies from around the world. Previously, Project C.U.R.E. hosted Señora Ana Ligia de Saca, the former first lady of El Salvador (Denver, 2006); Mrs. Margarita Zavala, the first lady of Mexico (Denver, 2008); Ms. Kim Simplis Barrow, the first lady of Belize (Phoenix, 2008); and Mrs. Ernestina Naadu Mills, the first lady of Ghana (Denver, 2009).

At the most recent First Ladies' Luncheon featuring Mrs. Ernestina Naadu Mills of Ghana, PROJECT C.U.R.E. exceeded its goal and raised enough money to deliver more than $2 million in medical relief to the country.

Funds raised at each event go to support the delivery of life-saving medical supplies and equipment to the country represented.
