The majority of PROJECT C.U.R.E.'s donations are provided on 40-foot ocean-going CARGO containers. These are provided to recipient partner hospitals and clinics around the world. The process begins with a Reqest for Assistance. PROJECT C.U.R.E. provides an on-site Needs Assessment prior to any donation of medical supplies and equipment. Based on the findings of the Needs Assessment report, the recipient partner will recieve a proposed inventory list. If the items are acceptable and the sponsor funds are available to pay the expenses incurred with the donation, the container is loaded and delivered to the recipient hospital. Learn More
C.U.R.E. KITS are prepared boxes of medical supplies for travelers to take as luggage on an airplane. KITS are approximately 45 lbs, and are designed to meet the needs of medical professionals traveling with PROJECT C.U.R.E.'s CLINIC program or other individuals and groups traveling abroad. Submit an application for C.U.R.E. Kits online. Once the application is completed, C.U.R.E. KITS can be picked up at PROJECT C.U.R.E.'s warehouse, or PROJECT C.U.R.E. will ship to the person within the U.S. who will be traveling internationally. Learn More
The C.U.R.E. CLINICS program is an opportunity for medical professionals to visit their counterparts in other countries. Doctors and nurses travel to places where PROJECT C.U.R.E. has delivered medical supplies and equipment in order to assist in diagnosis and treatment of patients at those facilities. A typical CLINICS trip is approximately seven to ten days, and the medical professionals are encouraged to return to these locations on other trips. Often, the CLINICS experience is general medical treatment, but PROJECT C.U.R.E. has specialists who are available depending on the need in the local community.
If you are interested in participating in a C.U.R.E. CLINICS trip as a medical volunteer or hosting a team of medical professionals from PROJECT C.U.R.E., please contact Sara Hendren, Director of International Travel and C.U.R.E. CLINICS at ameliabowman@projectcure.org.
